Bedding I Am Loving: Comfort and Style for Restful Nights

If there is one thing I am overly passionate about its having an uber comfortable and cozy bed. I had a friend in high school who had a bed that was like sleeping in clouds. I still dream about it TBH. Over the years I’ve made it my mission to craft up a bed that is just as, if not more, comfortable than that bed. I’ve tried several different sheets, duvets, feather beds, pillows - you name it and I’ve tried it.

As life gets busier and more demanding, I find such peace from climbing in a comfortable bed at the end of the night. In a way it’s healing, it’s a time to calm your body and reset for all of what you will face the next day. And this is why I think it’s so important that we all have the ultimate bedding set up, so we can all get the restorative sleep we need - especially as moms.

I wanted so share what we currently have on our bed now that makes it super dreamy. Although I am a hot sleeper and crank the thermostat to 65 while I am sleeping, I prefer our bed to be layered. Something about the weight of the blankets that makes me feel safe. The layers go a little something like this - feather bed, bamboo sheets, quilt and duvet cover #1 and down comforter and duvet #2 (this stays folded at our feet unless it’s super cold). When I sleep I throw on my leopard blanket, it’s super soft but has a good weight to it so it almost acts as a weighted blanket.
